Legitimately, their pizza was SO good I devoured it and this was all that remained. Let me preface this by saying that I have lived in Hamilton for over a decade and have hit up the local pizzerias -- Sabrinas, Tinas, Corleones, Amaris, Villagio Icarras, Divine Pizza, Brothers on 33, Brothers Pizzeria, etc. LaLuccis by FAR has the BEST pizza hands down of any local pizzeria in the Hamilton area. I literally inhaled the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza so fast I didnt even have time take a picture. As you can see, the Chicken Tender Honey Mustard nearly suffered the same fate. If youre looking for pizza in the Hamilton area with tasty, delectable, delicious & filling toppings, make sure to hit up LaLuccis!
This pizza was delicious. Their sauce and cheese is authentic flavor. The crust is right on with a crispy bite but not blacken like so many others do. The mushrooms had an added flavor that just highlights the pizza if you like mushrooms. They are fresh mushrooms and not canned like many other places use. This was an order on line and I got there earlier than expected but no problem their seating areas are very comfortable and clean. If you're in the area stop in and enjoy their food. This is not my first posting for this restaurant. Again they get 5 stars because they deserve it.
Fantastic pizza! I ordered online and it was quick and easy. I couldn't believe how generous they are with the toppings--so much you can barely see the pie underneath, which is just how I like it. A great tomato sauce full of flavor underneath everything. We'll be back!
I work in Independence Plaza and go to La Lucci every so often for my meal break. Good food. Nice people. Very convenient!
Worked in Manhattans and it seems like the pizzerias that were around in the 70's and 80's have almost all disappeared. Stopped in for a slice of pepperoni. Brought back some wonderful memories. Thin crispy crust, delicious sauce and hot stringing cheese (like what you see on TV commercials). The best pizza plus the slice was so big I thought I would need a doggy bag. No way, had to gobble up each morsel!!! Welcome to my neighbor and to Hamilton.
Pizza wasn't bad, but the guy who seemed like owner seemed disinterested in helping us. The worker on the other hand was friendly and laughed/joked with us. If you're looking for good pizza then this place isn't bad but if you're looking for amazing service then I hope the owner (or whoever that was) isn't there.
TWO SLICE LUNCH REVIEW Independence Plaza on South Broad Street, Hamilton, has been a difficult place to attract customers since its development thirty years ago. But, there is a new pizza joint down there now that provides reason for renewed optimism. LaLucci Pizza has been open a few months. I stopped in last week for a two slice and a soft drink (water) lunch. Like most pizza parlor these days, it has several prebaked pies on display for consideration and a grill for hot sandwiches. As a first timer, I wanted to try a basic slice and something higher end for comparison. There was a good looking Margherita sitting up front and a regular pie on the counter, both with a few triangles missing. I asked for one of each, and mentioned that I like my reheats well done. The store manager brought them to me a few minutes later, steam still wafting off the Vulcan surface. They were a nice size. I sprinkled crushed hot pepper flakes on them and went to work. First bite brought a crunchy report from the firm undercarriage. Very nice! No droop. Slightly salty taste to the sauce and cheese. The regular slice was leaking oil onto the paper plate, but not enough to require a demerit. The red, white and green margherita had the same hard edge crust and the pleasant flavor of fresh basil enhancing the chunky tomato gravy. Both were better than the average reheat jobs for the area, and deserving recognition. Happy to oblige with 4 big ones!
WOW!!! Is all I can say. Don't let the fact that its in a strip mall fool you. The food is great! We had meat stuffed pizza it was fantastic!!! Best I've ever had. The sauce tasted homemade the meat was unbelievable! The crust was perfect! My husband had the Bolognese and it tasted homemade. If this place doesn't become your favorite place to eat, I will be shocked! It is better then the local pizza restaurants that now inhabit this area of town. Finally a decent place!
